Written and scheduled one year ago today…
I had dinner with Lauren’s parents, and it was lovely. Chris and Jerry Hayward came with us to Laksa King where we enjoyed (Jerry’s favourite) Laksa. Unfortunately the Laksa was a bit of a let down by all accounts, but we had a nice conversation about travel, Lauren being a bad teenage travel companion, and other life things. Chris and I talked about IT, and how they were running an Agile project at his work – I was genuinely interested in his experience. It was nice.
Afterwards we went back to Lauren’s place to enjoy biscuits her mum made and coffee (which ended up being tea).
I don’t know what’s going to happen with Lauren and I. But I suspect this time next year we’ll both be happily surprised by this post.
